The Transportation Research Board (TRB) hosts its annual meeting, i.e., the TRB Annual Meeting, in Washington each January. The TRB mainly aims to advance the exchanges on transportation research and information, and to provide a broad exchange platform for transportation research, results promotion, and technical personnel training. During the TRB Annual Meeting, researchers from hundreds of countries gather in Washington to conduct academic exchanges and results display on transportation. In addition, TRB manages the contracted research projects in road transport, public transport and civil aviation, studies key issues and formulates major policies in transportation in the form of expert committees, and timely publishes and widely distributes the latest research results in transportation. Moreover, TRB comprises over 200 permanent technical committees and is made up of over 5,000 professionals specialized in transportation, including students and leading industry experts, on a voluntary basis. These technical committees are structured from top to bottom with a solid foundation, and have established extensive links with various disciplines, industry organizations, and professional organizations related to transportation.

EGU is one of the top academic organizations for geosciences in Europe, dedicated to studying the laws of geosciences, planetary sciences, and space sciences. The Conference has been chaired by well-known marketing scholars, such as Srinivasan and Kaufmann.

Founded in 2003, Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS), one of the most important geoscience academic organizations in Asia and Oceania, is a non-governmental organization registered in Singapore. AOGS holds an academic conference annually, appealing to Asian and Oceanian scientists to focus on atmospheric sciences, hydrology, planetary sciences, solid earth sciences and other high-profile subjects of earth and environmental sciences. It is a large-scale conference with thousands of attendees.

The IEEE Electrical Insulation Conference (EIC), sponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), is one of the influential international conferences in the field of high voltage and electrical insulation. It was first held in 1958. The conference was held every two years from 1976 to 2012 and has been staged once a year since 2013.

The Optical Fiber Communication Conference & Exposition (OFC) and the National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (NFOEC) is jointly organized by the Optical Society (OSA), the IEEE Communications Society (IEEE/ComSoc) and the IEEE Laser and Electro-Optics Society (IEEE/LEOS). The OFC is the most important event among the global photoelectric communication exhibitions. It has been held for 37 sessions since its founding in 1975 and has been recognized as the most influential and most professional international event in the field of optical communication, with the highest specification, the largest scale and the longest history.
