Areas of Expertise & Research Interests

 About 15 years engineering practice & teaching experience closely related metal materials & heat treatment, powder metallurgy, and failure analysis. Have the technology of metallographic analysis, metal metallurgy, and advanced chemical heat treatment. I have good ability of new process design and new product development. Good communication and good team work spirit.

 Recently, I am mainly engaged in research of phase transformation theory and process control, novel iron alloys and surface modification, magnetic carbon materials, and multicomponent composite corrosion protection technology of steels or cast irons. Breakthrough progress has been made in preparation of bulk Fe-N alloy, ultra-fine porous iron alloy, and high performance Fe-Ni-P series alloys.

 (1) Phase transformation theory and process control;

 (2) Advanced high performance ferroalloy;

 (3) Surface modification and protection technology;

 (4) Surface modification technology and application of metal powders;

 (5) Green manufacturing and Remanufacturing.
