On November 14, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of China-Thailand diplomatic relations and the “Golden 50 Years of China-Thailand Friendship”, the unveiling ceremony of the “International Practice and Exchange Center for Master’s and Doctoral Engineering Students” of the National Elite Engineers School of Southwest Jiaotong University and the first China-Thailand Student Enterprise Practice and Research Activity were held in Chengdu. 

The core missions of International Practice and Exchange Center for Master’s and Doctoral Engineering Students include the cultivation of international competencies in outstanding engineers and the establishment of an international exchange platform characterized by enhanced industry-academia-research collaboration. Guided by the vision of “Connecting the World, Empowering the Future”, the Center focuses on building an international student exchange platform that is “multi-level, broad-spectrum, and practice-oriented.” It will regularly implement programs including international cultural exchanges and mutual learning, enterprise practice and research, global competence enhancement, and career development guidance, thereby advancing cross-cultural collaborative innovation.
