On October 27, the delegation from AREP Group (France) and AREP (Beijing) Co., Ltd visited the university and signed a strategic co-operation frame agreement.

The agreement was signed by Yan Xuedong, President of the University, and Jiang Xingxing, Legal Representative of AREP (Beijing) Co., Ltd., which is a China-based branch of AREP Group (France). Such an agreement records a solid step forward in Sino-French industry-academia-research collaboration.

Both parties pledged to combine their respective strengths and resources to establish a model of collaboration within the fields of engineering and design.

AREP Group (France) is a wholly owned subsidiary of SNCF (Société Nationale des Chemins de fer Français), serving as the core enterprise for integrated design and consulting services.
