Inauguration of the University’s Quasi-axisymmetric Stellarator (CFQS) Project
2023-05-30

On the morning of May 6th, the on-site promotion of Chengdu-Chongqing (Xinglong Lake) Comprehensive Science Center & Major Sci-tech Infrastructure Center was held at the construction site of the CFQS. The Center has a core area of approximately 100 square kilometers around Xinglong Lake in the Chengdu Tianfu New Area. At present, Sichuan Province has six provincial-level major scientific and technological infrastructure projects, including two projects of the University, namely, the Dynamic Simulation Experimental Platform for Multi-state Coupled Rail Transit and CFQS.

The CFQS project inaugurated this time is to build the second major sci-tech infrastructure in Sichuan Province for which the University is responsible.
