SWJTU’s Supporting Institution (Lead): School of Transportation and Logistics

The National Engineering Laboratory for Comprehensive Transportation Big Data Application Technology was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in January 2017, and established under the organization of Beihang University and with SWJTU's participation. According to the reply from the National Development and Reform Commission, SWJTU will mainly solve the problems of data island and fragmentation of travel services in China's transportation industry, and build related research platforms for the comprehensive transportation big data application technologies centering on the urgent needs of effectively improving the overall efficiency of comprehensive transportation by relying on big data, and focus on the R&D and engineering of big data-based technologies, such as integrated transportation planning, operation & control of integrated transportation system, and intelligent logistics services.
