The 2023 ICSA China Conference was held at Chengdu, Sichuan from June 30 to July 3.

(ICSA) and hosted by the School of Mathematics of SWJTU in collaboration with the Sichuan Association for Applied Statistics. More than 1,000 statistical experts and scholars, teachers and students from universities at home and abroad attended the conference. Over 260 overseas scholars, 50 chief editors and deputy chief editors of internationally renowned statistical journals were invited to discuss the latest research findings of data science, big data analysis and application of artificial intelligence.

The conference consists of three keynote speeches, 18 plenary sessions, and a total of more than 650 group discussions. The keynote speakers include Academician XU Zongben of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Prof. LIU Jun of Harvard University and Prof. YAO Fang of Peking University.

The “ICSA Conference Awards”, “Junior Research Award”, “Poster Award” and “Honorable Mention” were granted to 14 experts, scholars, teachers and students respectively.

ICSA is one of the most famous statistical associations in the international statistical community with over 1,500 active members and a large number of internationally famous statisticians as its directors. The association holds such a conference annually since its inception.
