The 10th International Power Electronics and Motion Control Conference (IPEMC 2024-ECCE Asia) was successfully held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province from May 17th to 20th. Co-sponsored by the China Electrotechnical Society (CES) and the IEEE Power Electronics Society (IEEE PELS), the Conference was hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University and supported by the Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan Industry Applications Society (IEEJ IAS) and the Korea Institute of Power Electronics (KIPE). Participants of the Conference included over 60 IEEE fellows and more than 1,300 experts, scholars, university teachers and students from over 20 countries and regions, including China, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Germany, Denmark, Singapore and India.
IPEMC aims to provide a friendly and interactive platform for experts, scholars, technicians, and young students from academic and industrial community of power electronics worldwide to jointly discuss and share the latest international research achievements and cutting-edge technological developments in the field of power electronics and motion control.
The current IPEMC gathered over 1,300 participants from Asia, North America, Europe, Africa, and Oceania, setting a new attendance record ever. A total of 1,249 paper submissions were received, with 902 papers finally accepted. The Conference featured 10 keynote speeches by guest speakers, 16 tutorial sessions, 335 oral presentations, 567 poster presentations, 1 young scholars exchange session, 2 industrial forums, and 1 technical tour.
The Conference also presented to its attendants the First Youth Salon of the China Power Supply Society, a special session on IEEE Standards and Development Planning, and the ECCE-Asia Women in Engineering Conference.
