On May 30th, Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) was invited to participate in the ceremony for the collaboration documents exchange with the University of Kuala Lumpur (UniKL). As part of the series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia, the Exchange was hosted by the Malaysian side. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Chairman of UniKL, Dato' Sri Sh Mohmed Puzi bin Sh Ali, President of UniKL, Azman Bin Senin, Vice President of SWJTU, Zhou Zhongrong and other representatives attended the ceremony. Zhou Zhongrong, vice president of SWJTU exchanged the collaboration documents with his counterpart from UniKL.
The exchange ceremony lays the foundation for future cooperation between SWJTU and UniKL and marks the beginning of substantial input and efforts from the two, initiating the move in implementing the “3+2” talent development model promoted by the Malaysia-China Institute (MCI) after the meeting between leaders of both countries.
