At the 30th Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF) kicked off on June 19 in the China National Convention Center, Beijing, the signing ceremony and book-sharing session were held in Sichuan Publishing Pavilion for the co-publishing agreements between Southwest Jiaotong University Press and Springer Nature Group on “Advanced Science and Technology on China High-speed Railway”.
The co-publication of Springer Nature and SWJTU Press since 2021 will advance the cooperation and introduce to global readers the forward and leading research technologies of intelligent traction power supply systems based on the development of global transportation with low-carbon and high efficiency. This series of books will promote breakthroughs of the “bottleneck” in rail transit and explore green development with safety, convenience, efficiency, feasibility, inclusiveness, resilience and sustainability.
After the signing ceremony, the book-sharing session was held, at which Li Fangfang, the commissioning editor of the series, and Professor Chen Minwu and Shu Zeliang at the School of Electrical Engineering of SWJTU shared with the audience their concepts and views in the preparation of the books.
