Three-peat: Swjtuers win the 3rd consecutive championship at the China Graduate Electronic Design Contest

From August 13 to 14, students from the School of Information Science and Technology of Southwest Jiaotong University claimed 1 first prize, 1 second prize and 1 third prize at the final of the 16th “Zhaoyi Innovation Cup” China Graduate Electronic Design Contest (CGEDC). SWJTU teams have won the first prize for three consecutive years at this national competition and the university was also granted the "Excellent Organization Award".  

The Contest is an innovative and creative practice of electronic design for graduate student groups of the whole country. As one of "China Postgraduate Innovative and Practice Competition Series", it is listed among the most influential landmark events with the highest level and the largest scale of participation of graduate students from different majors across the country. At the national final, the first prize goes to the team consisting of Liu Jiaming, Chen Fei and Sheng Haoxuan with its project of “Post-disaster Emergency Communication System based on Adaptive LDPC” under the guidance of Prof. Feng Quanyuan and the second prize to Xu Jiabin, Yin Ping and Zhang Jingkai with “Design of Low-profile Ultra Wideband Antenna for Multi-carriers and the Application of Wireless Positioning System based on Single Base Station” under Prof. Zheng Zongliang. Supervised by Prof. Liu Heng, the team of  Xing Taotao, Li Kun and Pan Donghai captured the third prize with its project of “Online Monitoring System for Railway Freight CarBogies”.
