Hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) in tandem with the University of Technology Sydney, the 2021 IEEE International Conference on Digital Society and Intelligent Systems (IEEE DSInS 2021) was successfully held online from December 3 to 4, attracting many participants from around the world.

Tianrui Li, Chairman of this Conference and Professor of the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence at SWJTU, opened the conference with a warm welcome speech. Three keynote speeches were respectively presented by Prof. Jie Lu of the University of Technology Sydney, IEEE Fellow, and Editor-in-Chief of the of Knowledge-based Systems, Prof. Yanchun Zhang of Victoria University in Australia, Chairman of the International Web Information Systems Engineering Society (WISE Society) and Editor-In-Chief of World Wide Web, and Prof. Yu Zheng, Vice President of JD.COM, IEEE fellow, and former Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology.

In the wake of a successful conclusion, this conference will promote in-depth exchange and cooperation between SWJTU and academic institutions at home and abroad in the field of digital society and intelligent systems and boost the development of the discipline of computer and artificial intelligence of this University.
