Recently, a paper “TraSS: Efficient Trajectory Similarity Search Based on Key-Value Data Stores”, completed by Prof. Zheng Yu and Li Tianrui’s team from the School of Computing and Artificial Intelligence, was accepted by the 38th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering (ICDE), a top international conference in the field of database, data mining and content retrieval in computer science and a Class A conference listed by the China computer Federation (CCF). This is the first time that the University has published a high-level paper in IEEE ICDE as the author’s first affiliation, which indicates that the research achievements of Southwest Jiaotong University in the field of database and content retrieval have been recognized by the international academic cycle.
