The 2022 IEEE 11th Data Driven Control and Learning Systems Conference (DDCLS’22) was successfully held from August 3 to 5 in Emeishan City, Sichuan Province. This conference is sponsored by Technical Committee on Data Driven Control Learning and Optimization of Chinese Association of Automation & Qingdao University, hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University in collaboration with IEEE Beijing Section & Chengdu Association of Automation. 284 world renowned experts, scholars and representatives attended the meeting, and more than 100 others joined the meeting online.

A total of 275 papers and extended abstracts were included by the DDCLS’22, and 35 Presentation Groups and 2 Poster Groups were arranged. The English papers included in the Proceeding of this Conference will be published by IEEE.

The evaluation committee of excellent papers in DDCLS'22 performed four rounds of reviews and selected 5 excellent papers into finalist. Eventually, 2 papers won the DDCLS’22 Best Paper Award following the authors’ on-site presentation and defense in front of the expert evaluation group. In addition, 2 papers from 66 posted papers won the DDCLS'22 Best Poster Paper Award.

In the context of rapid development of big data and artificial intelligence, this Conference had gained noticeable achievements in promoting exchanges among experts, providing a valuable platform for young scholars, as well as orientating the data driven control learning and optimization towards a new direction. In addition, this Conference enhanced China’s research strength and improved China’s international academic influence in this field.
