Significant progressin unveiling the impact sensitivity of energetic materialshas been made recently by a research teamof Sichuan Province Key Laboratory of High Pressure Science and Technology headed by Liu Fusheng from the School of Physical Science and Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University. 

Their work on “Predicting Impact Sensitivity of Energetic Materials: Insights From Energy Transfer of Carriers”has been published in the top journal, Acta Materialia(IF:9.209), (the paper links:https://doi.org/10.1016/j.actamat.2022.118137), with doctoral candidate Liu Weihong as the first author, Liu Qijun the corresponding author, Dr ZhongMi, Associate Professor Li Xinghan, Associate Researcher Gan Yundan from Xi'an Modern Chemistry Research Institute and Professor Tang Bing from Northwestern Polytechnical University the co-authors.
