On December 10th, the award ceremony of 2022 Tianfu Friendship Award was held at the opening of the 20th Western China Overseas High-tech Talents Forum. Guests of honour included Wang Xiaohui, Secretary General of Sichuan CPC Provincial Committee, Huang Qiang, Deputy Secretary General of Sichuan CPC Provincial Committee, Yang Dan, President of Southwest Jiaotong University, and Chen Weirong, Dean of School of Electrical Engineering of SWJTU.

Wang Xiaohui delivered a speech and presented the awards to Jin Zhongmin, British professor from SWJTU and other four foreign experts, paying tribute to these experts for their achievements in the scientific and technological innovation, and their contributions to Sichuan social-economic development, international exchange and cooperation.

On the afternoon of December 10th, the symposium of foreign high-end experts in Sichuan province was staged in Chengdu. Professor Jin Zhongmin and associate professor Ali Rahman were invited to partake in it.
