Associate Professor Xie Hui from a team led by Professor Zhou Shaobing at the College of Medicine (Institute of Biomedical Engineering) of the University made a breakthrough in the research of smart dynamic soft materials. Their paper on research findings, “Bioinspired thermadapt shape-memory polymer with light-induced reversible fluorescence for rewritable 2D/3D-encoding information carriers”, was published in the international journal Nature Communications, with Huang Jinhui, a doctoral student in the College, as the lead author, and Professor Zhou Shaobing and Associate Professor Xie Hui as the corresponding authors.
