Recently, the live final of the China International College Students’ Innovation Competition 2023 was held in Tianjin University. Teams from Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) won 3 national silver awards for the main track of colleges and universities, 1 national silver award for the international track and 5 national bronze awards for the academic track, with the number of national awards of the University reaching a new high.

The Competition was hosted by the Tianjin Municipal People’s Government in collaboration with Tianjin University and other 12 government departments including the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. This year, 4.21 million projects involving 17.09 million people from 5,296 universities and colleges in 151 countries and regions at home and abroad signed up for the competition, among which 1,260 outstanding projects stood out.
