Recently, Railway Engineering Science (RES), an international academic journal sponsored by the University and edited by Academician Zhai Wanming, was enlisted among Q1 of “TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERING” in the 2023 Report of World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) of Science and Technological Periodicals again.

Among the 109 global academic journals of Transportation Engineering included in the 2023 WJCI Report, RES ranks 8th with its Impact Factor (IF) of 6.769 and 25th with World Journal Impact Index (WJCI) of 2.705 respectively. Moreover, RES is the only Q1 academic journal of rail transportation in the world.
